1. Who is the data controller
JR Nexus Solutions FZ-LLC ("JR LearnHub", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected on jrlearnhub.com and through accounts created on the JR LearnHub platform. Where you (the creator) operate an academy on JR LearnHub for your own students, you are the controller of that academy's student data and we act as your data processor.
2. What we collect
Account data
Name, email address, password (stored salted and hashed), academy name, billing address, and country.
Payment data
We never see or store full card numbers. Razorpay and Stripe handle all card data end-to-end and provide us with a payment token, transaction ID, and the last four digits of the card for reconciliation.
Usage data
Pages visited, features used, lessons viewed, time spent, IP address, browser fingerprint, and device type. Used for product analytics and abuse detection.
Course content and student data
Course assets uploaded by creators (video, audio, PDF, etc.), and student-level data (name, email, progress, certificates, payment history) generated through enrollments inside each creator's academy.
3. How we use it
- To operate the JR LearnHub service and authenticate users.
- To process payments and issue invoices.
- To provide customer support and respond to your queries.
- To improve product quality through aggregated analytics.
- To detect abuse, fraud, or violations of our terms of service.
- To send essential service emails (billing, security, product changes).
- To send optional marketing emails (only if you have opted in — unsubscribe in one click).
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the service providers required to run the platform. A representative list:
- Razorpay and Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection, security.
- AWS / Backblaze / Cloudflare R2 — encrypted asset storage.
- Google Analytics (marketing site only — never inside academy student portals).
We do not sell personal data. We do not share student-level data across creators' academies. We do not run advertising trackers inside the academy student experience.
5. Where we store it
Database records sit in managed MySQL instances in the closest region to the bulk of your students. Course assets are stored in encrypted object storage. Backups are encrypted and retained for 30 days.
6. How long we keep it
Account and payment records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws (typically 7 years). Course content and student records are retained for the lifetime of the academy account; on account deletion they are purged within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal compliance.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Object to processing or request restriction of processing.
- Withdraw consent for any optional processing (e.g. marketing emails).

8. Cookies
We use cookies for authentication (session cookies — strictly necessary), product analytics (only on the marketing site), and to remember user preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly-necessary cookies will break logged-in functionality.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified to account holders by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
